1928 ‘The Blue Bird Cook Book’ would make a great addition to any old cook book lovers, bakers, or curious chefs collection. 

The Domestic Science department was formed in 1912 and held monthly meetings where they discussed/demonstrated new recipes. This book was curated using those tested favourites. 

This cook book specifically has extra local cache as it’s Calgarian faction of the American Woman’s Club. 

You can tell this book was thoroughly loved and constantly used by flipping through and admiring every bent page, stain, and even slightly warped cover, perhaps from sitting a little too close to the stove top… Please note that there are several pages that are missing/torn (please see photos). Selling in as found condition
